Ā Hi, I'm Trish!
Ā
I'm aĀ transformational career & leadership coach, book and business mentor, and plant-based retreat leader. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, I started cooking over three decades ago, specializing in the Caribbean dishes and Soul Food I grew up with. In 2007, I moved to Atlanta and became active in the local vegetarian and vegan community. I went vegetarian in 2012 after watching the documentaries Food Inc. and Forks Over Knives.Ā I transitioned to a fully vegan lifestyle in 2014 after attending a Buddhist weekend meditation retreat. That same year, I founded Black Vegan LifeĀ®, a community-centered event brand rooted in culture, wellness, and compassion.
In 2019, I launched the Mind-Blowing HappinessĀ® brand to help motivated women amplify their voices and step into their power. Drawing on my MBA, corporate background, author credentials, and certifications in coaching, yoga, and meditation, I integrate holistic well-being and plant-based living across all of my work. Centered on self-awareness, self-leadership, and sustainable joy, I help my clients and students create healthful, aligned, and purpose-driven lives from the inside out.Ā
